1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks) softened
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
6 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1/2 t. salt
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
2. Add eggs one at a time.
3. Combine flour and salt and blend into mixture.
4. Add vanilla and blend into mixture.
5. Bake in greased and floured tube or loaf pan at 325º` for 1 1/4 hours or until a toothpick stuck into the center comes out clean.
