2 cups sugar
½ cup warm water
1 cup light Karo corn syrup
2 cups raw peanuts
Dash of salt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, water, and corn syrup in a large heavy saucepan and boil to hard ball stage using a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and add raw peanuts and dash of salt. Mixture will be quite thick.
Return to heat and boil until mixture turns golden brown and the peanuts smell done.
Remove from heat source and add baking soda and vanilla.
Immediately pour out on a buttered sheet pan.
Wait until thoroughly cooled and crack into pieces and serve.
