1 medium onion, diced
8 oz. cubed cooked ham
2 slices bacon, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
3 cups water
1 1/2 tsp. Better Than Bouillon
1 lb. frozen black-eyed peas
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. black pepper
salt, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large heavy pot, cook the ham, bacon, & onion together. Add garlic & red bell pepper; cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Let simmer on stove for 30 minutes to meld flavors.
