1 packet yeast
1/2 c. luke warm water

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. hot water

1 c. mashed potatoes
3 eggs beaten
2 t. salt

8 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast and water in small bowl. Set aside.
Mix sugar, Crisco and hot water together in large bowl. Add yeast and water, mashed potatoes, eggs and salt. Add flour 1 cup at a time. After 8 cups have been added the dough should not be real sticky. Knead by hand. Put Crisco on top, cover with waxed paper. Refrigerate overnight. Roll out and cut with dough cutter or glass. Spread butter in middle, press together. Place 16 in a 9 by 13 greased pan. Cover and let raise 3-3 1/2 hours. Bake in 400 º oven 15-20 minutes. This dough can also be used for pecan rolls.
