8 slices of bread, crust removed
1 c cheese, grated
1 1/2 c cubed cooked ham
2 eggs
1 1/4 c milk
salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cube the bread and place 1/3 of it in the bottom of buttered casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 ham. Cover with another 1/2 of cheese and ham. Top with remaining bread. Beat the eggs; blend in milk and flavoring. Pour over the casserole. Bake at 350 º for 35-45 minutes.
