2 Lb 1 kg Ground Beef
1 Lb 500 g Italian Sausage
3 15 oz 3 - 450 g Chili beans, drained
1 15 oz 1 - 450 g Chili beans in spicy Sauce
2 - 28 oz 2 - 900 mL Diced Tomatoes
6 oz 180 mL Tomato Paste
1 large Onion, diced
1 large Green pepper, seeded and diced
2 Green Chili peppers, seeded and chopped
1 T 15 mL Bacon bits
4 tsp 20 mL Beef base
1/2 cup 125 mL Beer
¼ cup 69 mL Chili Powder
1 T 15 mL Worcestershire Sauce
1 T 15 mL Minced garlic
1 T 15 mL Dried Oregano
2 tsp 10 mL Ground cumin
2 tsp 10 mL Hot sauce
1 tsp 5 mL Dried Basil
1 tsp 5 mL Salt
1 tsp 5 mL Pepper
1 tsp 5 mL Cayenne pepper
1 tsp 5 mL Paprika
1 tsp 5 mL Sugar

1. Heat a large stock pot and fry beef and Italian Sausage over medium heat
2. Add vegetables and cook
3. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and simmer 2 hours.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
