Sift together
1 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 Tbs cocoa or chocolate
Stir in
3/4 c milk
2 Tbs melted butter.
Stir to smooth and add
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped nuts
Topping:
1 cup Sugar
4 tsp cocoa
1 c hot water
whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together first 4 ingredients. Stir in milk and butter until smooth. Add Vanilla and chopped nuts. Put in well greased pan 8x8. Combine sugar, cocoa, and sprinkle on top of cake. Carefully pour over cake 1 cup hot water. Bake 45 minutes at 350º. Serve in squares with fluff of whipped cream.
