1 c dates
1 c walnuts
1 tsp soda
1 c hot water
1 egg beaten stiff
1 tbs butter
1 c sugar
1 c flour
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Pour hot water over dates, walnuts, and soda. Combine mixture. Bake 1 1/2 hours in very slow oven. standing in pan of hot water. Serve with Whipped Cream.
