2 c Brown Sugar
1 cup shortening (half oil, half snowdrift)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1 c nuts
3 or 2 1/2 c flour.
Directions:

No wetting. Mix, with spoon size walnut. Makes about 72 cookies
