1 can corned beef hash
2 slices bacon, cut fine
1 small onion, minced
2 T minced green pepper
2 T minced parsley
1 T lemon juice
1 egg, beaten slightly
3/4 cup sifted bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
2 T melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Break up the canned hash in a cowl, using a fork. Add the cut bacon, minced onion, green pepper an parsley, lemon juice and beaten egg. Stir in 1/2 cup of crumbs; moisten with milk. Form into a loaf with rounded corners. Brush with melted butter; roll in the remaining crumbs and again brush with butter. Place the loaf in the center of a greased oven platter. Bake in a moderately hot oven (350º) until browned on all sides and firm in center (45 Minutes). Serve with garnish of parsley and sliced beets, tossed in melted butter.
