Maseca (corn tortilla flour)
recado
flour
chicken
pepper
salt
garlic powder
onion
vinegar
chile
tomatoes, sliced thin
cabbage, shredded
jalepeno, in escabeche

Directions:
Directions:
Mix a little four and enough recado to give a little color into masa. Add enough water to make the dough right for tortillas. Form balls. Press out into small tortillas and fry in hot oil. Will still be soft.
Cook chicken with a little recado, onion, pepper, garlic, and salt. Shred.
Mix sliced onion with vinegar, chile, and salt.
Finely shred cabbage; add a little vinegar (or lime juice) and salt.
Layer chicken, onions, and cabbage on fried tortilla. Top with tomato slice and jalepeno.
