5 c. all- purpose flour
¼ c sugar
5 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. Dry yeast
2 tble warm water
2 c buttermilk
Melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together and place in large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast mixture with buttermilk into other ingredients. Stir and mix well. Turned out onto floured surface. Knead a couple of times (may need to add extra flour) and roll out to ¼ inch thick. Cut out biscuits. Dip into melted butter and place on baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
