2 to 2 1/2 lbs. chicken pieces, skinned, washed, & patted dry with a paper towel
1 medium onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup canned, diced tomatoes
6 oz. canned tomato paste
3/4 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 Tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken in small amount of olive oil for 15 minutes until lightly browned. As it cooks, turn chicken to brown on all sides. Add onion & garlic during the last 5 minutes. Drain fat. Combine remaining ingredients & pour over chicken in skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, & simmer for 35-40 minutes or until chicken is tender. Turn once while cooking.
May serve over hot, cooked spagetti.
