1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups unsifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups (11 oz. bag) Ghirardelli Classic White Chips
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter & sugars until fluffy. Beat in the vanilla & eggs, one at a time, until smooth. Blend in flour, baking soda, & salt. Stir in white chips & (opt.) pecans. Roll into balls; place balls on ungreased cookie sheets. Press balls down slightly. Bake about 10-12 minutes.
