1 lb almond paste
2/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 egg whites
1/2 c flour
almond slices

Directions:
Directions:
350º 16-18 minutes

In a large bowl beat almond paste, sugar salt and egg whites until a thick paste forms.
Sprinkle flour over work surface and knead paste into flour. until a smooth dough forms.
Roll to 1/2 inch thickness, Using a doughnut cutter, cut about 24 wreaths. re rolling as necessary.
Arrange 1 inch apart on parchment paper lined baking sheets.Brush with additional egg whites decorate with almond slices. brush with additional egg whites.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake.
Cool on wire rack.
