2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 12oz. package (2 cups) of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes
