3 oz. softened cream cheese
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 cups cooked chicken
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon chopped chives or onions
1 tablespoon chopped pimento (optional)
8 oz. can Pillsbury Quick Crescent or Italian flavored Crescent dinner rolls
3/4 cup seasoned croutons, crushed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of melted butter (reserve 1 tablespoon) until smooth. Add the next 6 ingredients; mix well. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles, firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture into center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top center of meat mixture, twist slightly and seal edges. Brush tops of crescent squares with reserved 1 tablespoon butter; dip in crouton crumbs. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate leftovers

I use the large crescent rolls instead of the dinner sized rolls, it works better. You can serve with chicken gravy
