250 grams butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
2 cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar til pale and very fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Pat out half inch thick and prick with fork. Cut into squares.

Bake at 300° for about 30 minutes. Watch carefully as it may take less time.
