6 ounces butter (¾ cup)
3 ounces sugar (⅜ cup)
10 ounces flour (2 cups)

Topping:
2 ounces butter (¼ cup)
1 tablespoon golden syrup
½ tin condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add the flour and mix well. Put a quarter of the mixture in the refrigerator to cool. Put the rest into a 11 x 7 inch pan.

Melt butter, golden syrup and condensed milk. Pour over base. Crumble the remaining mixture over the top. Bake at 390° for about 20 minutes.
