Cake:
1 box (18 1/2 oz) butter cake mix
1 box (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
4 eggs
3/4 C water
1/2 C vegetable oil
1/4 C bourbon
1 C chopped pecans

Glaze:
1 C sugar
1/2 C butter or margarine
1/4 C water
1/4 bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Cake:
Combine cake and pudding mixes in a large bowl. Add eggs, water, oil, and bourbon; beat 2 minutes or until well-blended. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into a greased 10-inch fluted tube pan and bake for 55 to 6 minutes. Cool on rack in pan for 10 minutes then invert onto serving plate.

Glaze:
Combine sugar, butter, and water in a medium saucepan over medium high heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, stirring constantly for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in bourbon.
Pour hot glaze over warm cake.
