Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter or margarine or 1/2 and 1/2, I use butter.
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp salt. I have added coarse sea salt at the 45 minute mark, it breaks down a little and you get a bite of salt every once in a while, I think it is a plus.
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp baking soda
7 1/2 cups popped corn. I don't measure the popped corn, I make a full pot in my 6 quart dutch oven.

Peanuts or other chopped nuts of choice optional and yummy.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Melt butter, corn syrup, and brown sugar over low heat. Simmer on low 5 minutes, remove from heat and add baking soda. Watch out the soda makes the mixture bubble and about double in size. While still foamy pour over popcorn in large roasting pan, mix. Bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes to coat evenly. Cool and serve! I know Corn syrup is not a good thing but you don't eat this everyday, I am open to tried substitutions.
