1 large can of peaches (drained)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp butter

Cake
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp.vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice from can of peaches, combine the brown sugar and tsp of butter, mix in peaches to coat Place this mixture on bottom of cake pan.

Plain Cake
Mix together the eggs and sugar add in the shortening, milk vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt. Pour cake mixture on top of peach bottom.

Bake at 350º until golden brown

So good. This is mom's recipe but i improvised with different fruit on the bottom of cake. Turns out nice, different every time
