1 cup of packed brown sugar
1/3 cup of butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of light corn syrup
Thick bread (challah, Italian bread, etc.)
5 eggs
1 ˝ cup of milk
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
The night before, melt sugar, butter and corn syrup in a saucepan.

Pour on the bottom of a 12 x 7 pan or larger.

Cut bread into about 1” slices and place in pan. Squeeze in as much as you can fit side by side.

Beat eggs, milk and cinnamon.

Pour over bread. Make sure all bread is soaked.

Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight.

Next day, remove foil and cook for 30 minutes in a 350 degree (preheated) oven.
