3/4 c butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. finely chopped candied red and green cherries
1/3 c. chopped pecans
2 c. flour
1 T. milk
3/4 c. coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter with electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add about half the flour, the sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat until thoroughly combined. Stir in remaining flour. Stir in cherries and pecans. Shape into 8 inch long rope . Roll in coconut. Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Cool cookies on a wire rake.
