4 eggs
1 3/4 C. Half and Half
3/4 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
salt and pepper to taste
20 oz. bag frozen corn, defrosted and water squeezed out.

Directions:

Mix the eggs, half n half, and softened butter by hand.
Add sugar, salt and pepper
Lightly chop Corn in Cuisinart
Add corn to egg mixture. Place in greased caserole Sprinkle sugar on top.
Bake in 425º oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes

If doubled: Put only 1 1/4 sticks butter, Quart of half n half, 3/4 c. sugar

Prepare up to 2 days ahead. Take out and bring to room temperature 1/2 hour before you want to bake it.

I try to do this early in the morning, let it sit, and then put it back in oven to heat.

The children ask me every year "Grandma I hope you are making corn pudding for Thanksgiving". It's a favorite. I started making this over 20 years ago as a tribute to the Pilgrims. I always double the recipe. Makes great leftovers (heat in microwave).
