1 16 oz can pear halves, undrained
2 c water
1/3 c lemon juice
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp grated lemon rind

Directions:
Directions:
mix pears and syrup in blender until smooth. Combine water and sugar in pan and bring to biol, stirring constantly until sugar dissolved. remove from heat, cool completely. stir in pear mix, lemon juice, rind and salt. Pour into square pan and freeze until firm. remove and beat with mixer until smooth. Return to pan and freeze to firm. Refrigerate until slightly softened before serving.
