6 T. Margarine
1 1/2 c. Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 c. Flour
1/2 c. Milk
1 t. Baking Powder
1/8 t. Salt
1/2 c. Chopped Walnuts
1 Lemon (Juice and Grated Zest)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Set aside
Cream Margarine and 1 c Sugar together in large bowl. Add eggs and beat until yellow and foamy. Add milk, and dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and lemon zest. Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes.
While bread is baking combine 1/2 c. sugar and lemon juice in a measuring cup. Pour over bread once it is finished baking. Let the bread cool in the pan.
