2 tablespoons whipping cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; add whipping cream, and cook 1 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in lemon juice and garlic.

This is a great basic sauce.

To make a creole Decateur Sauce: brown the butter and add crabmeat and shrimp.

To make a creole Royale Sauce add chopped scallions, shrimp, crawfish and white wine or beer (to taste)
