Base layer:
1/3 c butter
2 T cream
1/2 c confectioners sugar
1/4 t salt
1/2 t vanilla
c all purpose flour
Middle layer:
6 oz butterscotch chips
1/2 c confectioners sugar
2 T cream
1/2 c chopped pecans
2 T butter.
Top layer:
1/2 c semi sweet chocolate chips
3 T cream
1T butter
1/4 c confectioners sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Bottom layer:
Preheat oven to 350 F, cream butter. Add sugar then cream well and add vanilla and salt. Press into bottom of 9 in square baking pan. Use floured fingers to pat dough into pan. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly brown. Pull out of oven and pour middle layer over cookie. Use spatula to spread.
Middle layer:
Melt morsels and cream. Add other stuff and stir until smooth.
Immediately pour on Top layer. spread gently
Top layer
Melt chocolate in cream. Add other ingredients and stir until smooth

I loved, loved, loved these when I was in high school and college. Don't remember where the recipe originally came from. I wouldn't be able to touch them now.
