3 oz. pkg. lime Jell-)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup boiling water
1 lb. canned pear halves in syrup
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/8 tsp. ground ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water. Let set. Drain pears, reserving 3/4 cup syrup (if not enough, add water). Add pear syrup & lemon juice to Jell-O. Dice pears & set aside. Measure 1 1/4 cups Jell-O into a 1-quart mold or serving dish. Chill until set, but not firm. Meanwhile beat cream cheese until creamy. A little at a time, beat in remaining Jell-O & ginger, blending until smooth. Chill until thick. Fold in pears. Gently, spoon into Jell-O mold. Chill until firm.
