Personal Notes:
Sometimes, we have had trouble using "generic" powdered sugar for the coating. The cookies have absorbed it. We try to use name brand, specifically Domino's©. These are Mom's recipe, also known in many cookbooks as "Chocolate Crinkles" or "Chocolate Beanies". I have been known to add finely chopped nuts to the batter before chilling.
