1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed, & cut into one-inch chunks
1/2 medium onion, diced
1/2 medium bell pepper, seeded & cut into strips
pinch of garlic powder
16 oz. canned tomatoes, chopped (do not drain)
3 cups water
1 to 1 1/2 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 chicken bouillon cube ( or substitute chicken base)
1/2 tsp. each: dried basil, dried thyme, (opt.) salt

Brown sausage & onion in a heavy soup pot. Drain all, except 2 Tbsp. drippings.
Add remaining ingredients to pot. Simmer, uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
