1 egg, beaten
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour rounded
2 c. water or fruit juice
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
6 c. fruit (apples, pears, peaches, mandarin oranges, pineapple, or bananas)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain all fruit if using canned. Juice can be used for dressing instead of water. Use a little less sugar if fruit is in heavy syrup. Mix sugar and flour. Beat egg in water or juice, add vinegar. Add to flour mixture. Boil until thickened. Add butter and vanilla. Let dressing cool and pour over fruit. Chill.
