1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries
3 lbs. seedless raisins
1/2 lb. sugar
1 cup butter
6 egg yolks, beaten
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 t. ground cloves
1 t. nutmeg
1 quart pecans
6 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Cut pineapple and cherries into smaller pieces. Mix with raisins. Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolks, mix, then add the fruit. Add flour and spices sifted together to cream mixture. Mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until knife inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

Will be fairly dry. Cool and place in a covered container. Every few days add a little apple juice, wine or whisky of choice to make it moist. Will last several weeks.
