For bottom layer:
1 c. flour
1 stick softened butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)

Next layer:
8 oz. cream cheese
1c. powdered sugar
1/2 8 oz. container of Cool Whip

Next layer:
2 packages chocolate instant pudding
~made with 3 c. milk~

Top with a container of Cool Whip
Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, butter and nuts and press into 13"x 9" baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool thoroughly.
Cream together...cream cheese, powdered sugar and 4 oz. Cool Whip.
Spread on crust.
Add chocolate pudding* for next layer.
Top entire pan with Cool Whip and keep chilled until served.
Garnish with chocolate curls or finely chopped nuts.
*This recipe has as many flavor options as there are flavors of instant pudding. Butterscotch and lemon are excellent too.
