1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. cake flour
12 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff. Gradually add 2 Tbsp. of sugar at a time. Then add vanilla and salt. Beat until stiff and glossy. Mix powdered sugar and flour. Fold this mixture into the egg whites. Do not over fold. Pour into angel food cake pan. Run a table knife through the batter to release air bubbles. Bake at 375º for 30-35 minutes. Turn upside down to cool.
