2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1 pkg. (2 1/4 tsp) yeast
2 T. butter, melted
3 T. sugar
3/4 c. warm water

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 c. flour, sugar and yeast. Add water and butter. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes or until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a well floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 4-6 minutes. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Roll dough to 3/8 thick cut a floured 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375º for 11 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to a wire rake.
