1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 -1 tsp garlic granules
2-3 C water
1 can (14oz) tomato sauce
14.5 oz can diced or 5 chopped tomatoes (or 1 pint home canned)
1-1 1/2 TBS soy sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp black pepper, or to taste
1 1/2 C elbow macaroni, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
In a large Dutch oven, cook the beef, onions, and garlic over medium heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Cook and stir the mixture until the meat is done and onions are translucent.

Stir in water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, soy sauce, and spices. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the macaroni, cover, and simmer over low heat until the pasta is tender, about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if needed.

Adjust seasoning to suit yourself and top with grated cheese, if desired
