1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper, chopped optional
3/4 cup raw rice
1 small cabbage, chopped coarsely
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup water
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is done and vegetables transparent. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain off fat.
Mix together all other ingredients and meat mixture in a 2-qt.
casserole and cover. Bake at 350-degrees for 1-1/2
hours. Check after about an hour cooking and if it looks
dry add a little water to dish. This may not be necessary.
