2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 cups chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
1/2 cups evaporated milk, or half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in pan and add onion and garlic. Cook until tender.
Stir in curry, salt, and pepper and cook for one minute
add broth and pumpkin and bring to simmer.
Cook uncovered for 20 minutes
Stir in milk just before serving.
