1 C all-purpose flour
1 C whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 C butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 C ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flours, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry blender cut in butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Sprinkle water over flour and mix with a fork until well combined. Knead into a ball. Set beneath an inverted bowl to rest for 10 minutes.
Heat oven to 375º.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Divide dough in half. Roll out each very thin on paper to make a 9x12 in rectangle. With a sharp knife cut dough into 1 1/2 in square crackers. Prick each cracker diagonally with the tines of a fork. Bake crackers, checking occasionally, until lightly browned; about 12-15 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Separate into individual cracker and store in an airtight container. Makes 72 (1 1/2 inch) crackers
