Ingredients:
Ingredients:
-16oz package of frozen phyllo dough thawed in its package
-1 egg, whisked in 1 cup of milk
-1/2 cup butter, melted combined with 1/2 cup olive oil

For the meat filling
-1 1/2 lb ground beef
-1/2 large onion finely shredded
-1/2 tsp ground all-spice
-1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- canola oil

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350F
2) Heat one tbsp of canola oil in a nonstick pan
3) Saute onion briefly until soft. Add the meat, spices, salt and pepper to the onion and continue to saute on medium-high, stirring and breaking up the meat occasionally.
4) When meat is cooked through and browned remove from heat and set aside.
5) Grease a 9" x 13" baking dish and lay three to four sheets of the phyllo dough on the bottom. Brush this layer very generously with the melted butter and oil mixture. Repeat this step as you lay three to four sheets at a time in the baking dish. Do this until you have used up half of the phyllo sheets.
6) Spread the meet filling evenly over the phyllo in the baking dish
7) Layer remaining sheets, again three or four sheets at a time and buttering the top generously as you go on.
8) Butter the very top sheet
9) Cut the pie into 12 squares
10) Season the prepared milk and egg mixture with salt and pepper and pour evenly on top of the pie
11) Place pie in the oven for 45 minutes to and hour until cooked through. It should be golden and crispy
