18 oz. pkg. chocolate cake mix
14 oz. pkg. caramels, unwrapped
1/2 c butter
1 can Eagle brand milk
1 c coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare cake mix as package directs. Pour 2 cups batter into greased 9" x 13" pan. Bake for 15 minutes. In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels and butter with Eagle brand milk, stirring until smooth. Spread evenly over cake. Spread remaining cake batter over caramel mixture. Top with pecans. Return to oven and bake for 30 minutes longer or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool and serve.
