Brine:
1 quart Vinegar
3 quarts Distilled Water
7/8 cup Pickelling Salt

Dill flowers
Garlic Cloves
Cucumbers

Directions:
Directions:
Bring vinegar, water & salt to a boil and simmer.

Boil jar tops.
Wash jars in dishwasher then put on rack in oven at 200 º F to sterilize.

Put dill flower in bottom of jar and 3 - 4 garlic cloves.
Stuff washed cukes into jar.

Pour brine over cukes to the top of jar. (leave a tiny space at the top - less than 1/4")
Screw tops on jars and leave to settle for at least 6 - 8 weeks.

This recipe makes about 5 quarts pickles.

I usually turn the jars over on a paper towel overnight after sealing - that way you know that they are not leaking and are sealed properly.
