3 or 4 medium potatoes
1 onion
1/2 celery stalk
salt and pepper to taste
milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and dice 3 or 4 potatoes
Peel and dice 1 onion and celery.
Cover with just enough water to cook. Add salt.

When cooked, mash with potato masher -- retain the liquid.

Add 1/2 stick of butter and milk to proper consistency for soup. Best to use whole milk or even half and half. Heat until warm. Don't boil.

This is the only thing to serve on a cold rainy Saturday, or when you're not feeling so well, or trying to get over a cold. Works better than Chicken Soup! Goes great with a grilled cheese or peanut butter sandwich.
