2 C water with 2 bouillon cubes
1 C tomato juice
1 qt chicken broth
1 lb small cubes boneless chuck
1 (30 oz) can tomatoes
1 large chopped onion
2 stalks chopped celery
1/4 C minced parsley
1 C diced carrots
2 C diced potatoes
1/2 C shredded cabbage
1/2 C diced turnips
1 TBS season salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp basil
1 tsp thyme

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large boiler or dutch oven. Let soup come to a rolling boil, cover with a tight lid and simmer 1 1/2 hours. You can substitute 1 C cooked elbow macaroni for the potatoes if you like or use half of each
