Ingredients:  
1-2 tsp. corn starch (depending on how thick a custard is desired)
1 1/4 cups sugar
6 eggs
1/2 gallon whole milk
9 large marshmallows
vanilla to taste or 2 tsp. pure vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, add corn starch and sugar. Mix well
Add eggs and blend ( do not beat eggs to a froth
Fill bottom section of a double boiler until water touches top section
Add milk, eggs and sugar mixture to top section of double boiler. Bring water to a slow simmering boil
Add marshmallows to milk mixture until melted
Continue until mixture begins to thicken to your desired thickness
The custard will become thicker when it cools
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla
Store in refrigerator

We like to serve the custard with a scoop of ice cream with the custard on top. We then sprinkle ground nutmeg to taste
