"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 cups mustang grape juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 box Sure Jell
7-8 cups of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bring grape juice, lemon juice and pectin to a hard boil (can't stir it down), add the sugar and bring it to a hard boil again, stirring constantly, boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and fill the sterilized jars 1/4 in from the top. Screw on the lids and proceed with waterbath as usual. It makes about 9 half-pint jars

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mustang grapes have got to be the most acidic grapes ever, I seriously suggest wearing rubber gloves when juicing these. Also, because they are so tart they take twice the sugar you would use for concord grapes. It isn't too sweet, I promise.
