1 C butter, softened
1 1/2 C Sugar
2 Eggs
2 3/4 C flour
3 tsp baking powder (or 2 tsp cream of tartar plus 1 tsp baking soda)
1/2 tsp salt

1/4 C sugar
4 TBS Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1/4 C sugar and cinnamon and set aside, this is what you will roll the balls in.

Cream Butter and sugar till fluffy. Blend in eggs and gradually add dry ingredients. Mix well. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Use a Tablespoon measure to dip the dough and roll into balls. Roll in cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-9 minutes at 375º. Immediately remove from sheet so the bottoms don't burn.
