Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. salted butter
1/2 c. icing sugar
1 1/2 c. unbleached flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into thin slices directly from the fridge and then beat with stand mixer. Using cold butter prevents having to chill the dough.

Beat the butter until smooth but not creamy. You don't want to over bear it. When smooth add your icing sugar and cream together. In a smaller bowl combine the flour and the corn starch and whisk them together before adding to the butter and icing sugar mixture. Add vanilla to dough ad mix until just combined.

Form dough into a ball. Roll out and cut into various shapes.

Bake for 12 minutes at 300º.
